Union Man Faces Forgery Charge

Sanders is accused of forging three checks on his account

A Union man was arrested and charged with forgery. The victim reported the forgery back on June 16, stating that the suspect, identified as 28-year-old Jacob Sanders, forged three checks on his account at Arthur State Bank. The checks were cashed between June 8 and June 10 through mobile deposit. A warrant was obtained for forgery, greater than $10,000. Sanders was arrested Thursday. Bond was set at $3000. Sanders remains at the Union County Detention Center.
