Union Public Safety Investigates Shooting Incident Involving Toddler

The Union Public Safety Department reported that on Tuesday at around 1:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to Union Medical Center for a 2-year-old gunshot victim. Investigators were called to the hospital, where they learned the incident occurred at Lakeview Garden Apartments, at 720 Lakeside Drive in the City of Union. There were reportedly two adults at the residence at the time of the incident. The two-year-old was transferred to Greenville Hospital.

The incident is under investigation by the Union Public Safety Department and there are no further details at this time.
