A Union teen was arrested last week in connection with the destruction of the YMCA sign on Main Street. 18-year-old Tyler Emmanuel Gist was charged with leaving the scene of an accident. The warrant states that on Saturday, April 16, while in the City of Union, Gist was involved in a motor vehicle collision involving property damage, and he left the scene. Further details into the incident were not released.
