Woman charged with public disorderly conduct for incident involving her son
A Union woman was arrested and charged with public disorderly conduct for an incident at a youth football game Monday. Cpl. Voiselle was at Union County Stadium for a report of parents acting out during a football game. A fan in the stadium yelled for Voiselle to look on the sideline. He saw an adult female yelling at a 12-year-old player. The woman had a football helmet in her hand and appeared to be swinging it at the child and trying to hit him while yelling and cursing at him. Voiselle saw a coach standing between the woman and the child. The man who runs the youth football league yelled for Voiselle to come down to the field. The woman then made her way back into the stands, where Voiselle spoke with her. She said the child was her son and she was trying to “whoop him” because he was being disrespectful. Voiselle talked to the coach, who said the woman never hit the child, but only because he was standing between the two. 30-year-old Jasmine Monicke Hall was escorted out of the stadium and placed under arrest for public disorderly conduct. She was placed on trespass notice for all Union County Youth Football Association events. A DSS worker was notified of the incident.
