Drug charges among the charges she faces

Two people have been arrested in the past week in connection with several car break-ins. 33-year-old Stevie Marie Leigh Ann Sorrow was arrested back on Saturday, April 15, on multiple charges. According to her arrest warrants, she is charged with petit larceny for taking a package from someone’s porch on North Mountain Street that contained paint that was to be used at a church. The resident there said he had three packages on the porch, and around 11:18 p.m. on April 14, his doorbell camera alerted him to movement. He said a female grabbed one of the packages from the porch. Sorrow faces three counts of possession of stolen goods. The warrants state that Sorrow had an iPhone, flashlight, vehicle information, multiple keys, and other items, all belonging to a man on North Mountain Street. He had reported the items missing earlier. She also had an iPad, laptop, Founders debit card, and other items belonging to a woman on North Mountain Street. She was also found with another iPad, vehicle information, driver’s license, and other items belonging to another woman on North Mountain Street. Sorrow also faces a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, because she had a glass smoking pipe and a cut straw with her on North Mountain Street. She also had marijuana in her possession, so she was charged with marijuana possession. While on North Church Street, she was found with a small clear plastic bag containing methamphetamine, so she was charged with possession of meth, second offense. She is also being held on a probation violation warrant. Bond for all charges totals $106,490. Sorrow remains in the Union County Detention Center.
