Union Woman Faces Multiple Drug Charges

Daniel Prince

Meth, fentanyl, and marijuana found in her possession

A Union woman faces multiple drug charges stemming from an incident that occurred in late September. Investigators Beheler and Vinson, along with special agent Meeks, went to an address on North Church Street and met with 28-year-old Casandra Lacey Bailey. Bailey told the officers she had several blue pills and meth in her residence there. She invited the officers in and showed them a gray bag, in which she said the drugs could be found. She gave the officers permission to search the bag, and inside they found a large quantity of methamphetamine and a large number of blue pills the investigators recognized to be fake pills made from fentanyl. They also found a large bag of marijuana.

Bailey was arrested on Tuesday and charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute a schedule 2 controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances near a school.
