Unknown Man Steals Tires From Vehicle at Car Lot

Three tires stolen, underside of tire well damaged on vehicle

On Wednesday, PSO Brown and Sgt. Fleming were dispatched to Union Kar Connection for a theft. They spoke with a woman there who stated that Tuesday morning around 7 a.m., an unidentified, gray-colored vehicle pulled into the front parking lot of the business. A suspect got out and grabbed a car jack. He began to jack up a nearby Nissan Altima and took three of the tires off the vehicle. The suspect tried to get the fourth tire but was unable to fit the jack under the car and damaged the underside of the tire well. The suspect put the tires and the jack back into the gray vehicle and drove off, going south on the bypass. The tires were valued at $250.
