Class is worth three credit hours
USC Union is offering a class during their Fall II semester called Computer Literacy and Applications. Professor Deborah Hudson will be teaching the course at USC Union’s Palmetto College iCarolina Lab at the Union County Carnegie Library Mondays and Wednesdays from noon until 1 p.m. The course can also be completed online. The course is designed to learn the functions and components of a computer and to gain skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, using programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The course is good for three credit hours and runs 8 weeks from October 17 through December 12. The first 15 students to register will have their tuition and fees waived for the class.
