USC Union event will feature health information and food
There are a couple of vaccination events coming up in Union County. One is set this Friday from 10-12:30 at Pinckney Place, located at 1300 South Pinckney Street. Another event is coming to USC Union next Thursday, January 13, from 11-2. USC Union is partnering with the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg to host their second COVID-19 Wellness Event. While it is being geared to college students, the event is open to the public. VCOM will be sharing information on the vaccines, and they will have the Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines and boosters to any who want them. Free lunch will be provided, as the Mac Attack food truck will be on hand. Those who are already fully vaccinated or receive the vaccine can get a t-shirt, as well. The event will be held in the Truluck Gym at 103 North Church Street on campus at USC Union.
