Tests, vaccines, and boosters available at events in Jonesville and Carlisle
A group called Vax Up South Carolina is bringing a Health Day event to two towns in Union County on Saturday. They will be at the Jonesville Town Hall, at 131 North Main Street in Jonesville, this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. They will then go to the Carlisle Town Hall, at 3911 Fishdam Avenue in Carlisle, Saturday from 2:30-5 p.m. At both places, they will be offering COVID tests, vaccinations, and boosters. Children five and older can get the vaccine, and no ID is necessary. They will also offer other types of health screenings and will have new tests available to check for the flu. Take out meals will be available while supplies last from The Café, Pete’s Pizza, and Dwayne’s Grill. For more information, call William Christopher at 803-727-8237.
