2017 Subaru Legacy stolen from house on Bridle Trail Lane

In a neighborhood that has seen quite a few vehicle break-ins this year, a Union man reported his vehicle was stolen from his residence early Tuesday morning. PFC Cody Hill responded to an address on Bridle Trail Lane in the Cherokee Estates subdivision. When he arrived, he spoke to the victim, who stated that sometime during the night, his 2017 Subaru Legacy was stolen. He stated he received a notification on his cell phone that his vehicle was moving. He said the vehicle was locked, and that he always locks his vehicles overnight. He said whoever stole the vehicle may have been able to access a valet key that was hidden in the car. The man shared all the information on the vehicle with Hill, and gave him the vehicle’s location, as the vehicle was equipped with a GPS locator. The case has been forwarded to investigations. The vehicle was valued at $12,000.
