Vehicle Stolen in Greenville County Recovered in Union

2020 Honda Accord found due to GPS tracker

A vehicle that was reported stolen in Greenville was recovered in Union. Sgt. David Lee with the Union Public Safety Department was contacted by the City of Greenville Police Department about the stolen vehicle. The officer stated a 2020 Honda Accord had been stolen, and the vehicle had been entered into NCIC. The officer said the car had a GPS tracker on it, and it was pinging at 1111 Lakeside Drive in Union. Sgt. Lee and Cpl. Malik Harris went to the apartment complex and found the vehicle parked in a parking space there. The vehicle was towed back to Greenville. The investigation is continuing.
