Three different deadlines for in-person, emailed, or mailed registrations
The general election is set for Tuesday, November 8. There are three different voter registration deadlines, depending on how you register. The last day to register to vote in-person at the Union County Voter Registration Office is this Friday, October 7, at 5 p.m. Voter registration forms can be turned in by fax or email attachment but must be received by Sunday, October 9, or postmarked by Tuesday, October 11, if submitted by mail. Online registration through www.scvotes.gov must be received by Sunday, October 9, as well. With redistricting complete in the city and county, it is a good idea to check your voter registration information to see if your district has changed. You can do that at www.scvotes.gov.
