Annual Sounds of a Union County Christmas and 24 Hours of Christmas Music planned
As our WBCU family prepares to spend time with our families for Christmas, we are preparing some special programming for you on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Starting at 6 a.m. Christmas Eve, WBCU and our sponsors will present the Sounds of a Union County Christmas. Our Christmas Eve programming will feature church and school musical presentations. All but two programs are new this year, as many churches have resumed having choirs perform in celebration of Christmas. Sounds of a Union County Christmas will air from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. From 6 p.m. Christmas Eve through 6 p.m. Christmas Day, Union Medical Center will present 24 Hours of Christmas Music as a Christmas gift to the community. Join WBCU for 24 hours of Christmas music, interrupted only by Christmas wishes from the employees of Union Medical Center. Following that, the annual Pat Gwinn at the Beach Christmas special is set to air from 6-8 p.m. Gwinn said it’s all about Union in the 1970s, so don’t miss out. Our offices will be closed on Monday and Tuesday to allow for additional time with our families. We will have great country music for you all day Monday and Tuesday, but we will not have our normal contests, swap and shop, or gospel hour. We will resume normal programming on Wednesday. From all of us to each of you, we hope you have a wonderful, safe, healthy, and merry Christmas!
