Youth Wellness Group to Expand to Union County Schools Next Year

Fit2Gether coming thanks to grant from Center for Rural and Primary Healthcare

Thanks to a grant from the Center for Rural and Primary Healthcare, a youth wellness group that has been operating in Cherokee County will be coming to the Union County School District next year. The group is called Fit2Gether. Their goal, according to their F2G Facebook page, is to build a culture of wellness for all through youth power, a whole child focus, and authentic partnerships. They focus not only on physical well-being, but mental health and well-being, as well. The group is led by Union native Christina Cody. The school district says they are excited about this new partnership and what it can provide for Union County Schools.
